This job involved replacing an unsafe single step from the front porch with two wider limestone treads supported on bricks. Every step of the way was completed quickly and exactly as we requested. Roger the Project Manager, and his workers took pride in insuring that we were satisfied. I would gladly recommend 'Next Level Custom Brick" for home improvement.
We had brickwork done on a garage wall. Both Tom and Nick worked hard to match our 60+ year old brick colors. They were always available if we had questions, getting back to us quickly with a response. Their crew led by Alex did a super job repairing part of the wall and then replacing the bricks. Alex also built us a step for both doors to make it easier for us to get in and out of our house. The clean up was great too! You wouldn’t know they were even there. We’d definitely give them a 5 star rating and would highly recommend this company. They are knowledgeable, professional and do excellent work.

There had been several people who slipped off our side step with one other person fracturing their ankle. After I slipped off the side step, fractured my ankle in 2 places and had to have surgery we decided we needed to have the step replaced. It really wasn't a regular step to begin with but it was what was here when we bought the house. I called Next Level Custom Brick. Katie answered the phone and she was great and companionate. She gave me an appointment with a few days of calling. Tom came out on that Friday and gave us a free estimate on what needed to be done. We were able to have the work done the following Thursday. Tom and Nic (the owner) came out that day to get with the crew about what needed to be done. They were nice and professional. It was nice that the owner came out to meet with us. The crew was great and polite. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. They did a great job and I would recommend this company.
My husband and I recently had our porch and walkway replaced by Next Level Custom Brick. We are very pleased with the work done. Everyone involved in this project was easy to work with and were great communicators. Nick and Tom were very honest and professional when giving us a quote and explaining what need to be done. There was no pressure to sign right away. Katie handled the scheduling with ease and flexibility. Omar and his crew showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up afterward. I had Next Level Custom Brick do a chimney rebuild from the roof line up. Nick and Tom quoted a fair price and Katie scheduled the work in a timely manner. All involved in this project were easy to work with and professional.. Omar and his crew did a fantastic job on the rebuild. Omar took the time to blend some of older bricks with the new ones, so it blended in with the rest of the chimney. They completed the work quickly and cleaned up the site. I am very pleased with how the chimney looks, This is the second project they have done for me and I highly recommend their company.

Crew did excellent work. They really knew what they were doing and did it perfectly. Excellent job all around. From working with me to design cement work and porch steps to my specifications. To going the extra mile in finishing the job off with topsoil and hauling away all the old bricks and cement work. The men worked past dinner time to complete the job in one day. Awesome and recommended.
Next Level Custom Brick was very responsive to my inquiry for a detailed estimate, scheduling an appointment and arriving timely within a few days of my initial inquiry. Upon their assessment, they quickly scheduled the work for us, as we had a failing foundation wall that was allowing substantial water to flow into our basement. Our home is a historic home, built in 1910, on a foundation that dates back to the 1850.
Next Level was able to schedule the work within the week to help us address an immediate need. They were here when they said they would be, completed the job as indicated without any surprises. They were able to match the exterior blocks as best as they could to ensure a seamless view to the exterior, as the work was in the front of the house and included an elevated wall supporting the porch.
We are very happy with the experience and have already recommended them to our neighbors.
I had Next Level remove the existing/damaged brick wall on the front of my house and replace with a new brick as well and dry stack decorative stone. From the first inspection of my existing wall to the excellent clean up, this company is great. Nick the owner is thorough and helpful. Alex's crew did a very good job too. Our chimney repair was done last fall and now we needed a small area of the front porch wall replaced due to erosion. While contemplating that, project we had a minor brick/vehicle collision on our garage door surround and we knew it was time to call Next Level out again.
The work was done promptly and professionally. I was not present but was even able to converse with the crew leader Omar through my Ring door bell!! They cleaned everything up perfectly. We could not be happier.
We highly recommend this company who, by the way, were also the most reasonable of the contractors we contacted.
We had a great experience with Next Level Custon Brick, LLC. We signed up to get a free estimate and with in 24 hours, I had someone from their office calling me to scheudule. We had Roger as our site manager and he was great to work with, I met him to go over our estimate and the worked that needed to be done. He was very timely with his responses and providing us the expectations of the job to be done. Our porch looks great, and we can't say enough about the company and team we worked with.
Five star rating. I employed Next Level to repair fallen brick on my home. They came out the next day and did an excellent job replacing and repairing the damaged area. I will definitely retain their services in the future.
We are very happy with the tuck pointing job done on our 1933 Tudor. Crew was awesome and cleaned up after themselves. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them work on our next home.

My experience with them was exceptional. Why not support a small local business like this, as opposed to corporate “big box” stores? (EX: Home Depot, Lowes) They sub-contract all their work, and they will not remember you.
With NLCB, I signed the quote November 26, 2024. They started work at my home 12/10/2024 and continued 12/11/2024. They were not able, understandably, to work the next days due to cold and snow. They finished 12/16/2024.
This company was entirely new to me. I learned about them through a neighbor’s contact with Catie Thompson. She was responsive and helpful. I have no personal connection to them, no family ties. I later discovered that they advertise in the ValPak coupons mailed to my house. I consulted 3 other competitors. There was no comparison. One lost me when the consultant left me a handwritten, illegible quote on long carbon paper where it was too light and impossible to decipher important details.
Nic Thompson and Tom Needham made a very positive impression on me from the beginning, and it did not change. In fact, it got better. They showed positive qualities that should not be thought of as “old-fashioned” anymore. They were on time. They showed that they respected my time. They were honest and down-to-Earth. They were easy to talk with. They communicated well with me. They really listened and focused on my starting idea. They did not try to talk me into doing 4 times the work I wanted. They were knowledgeable and gave me reasonable ideas. They spoke and acted like they really cared about my home. They helped make a big project feel enjoyable, instead of uncertain, nervous, and stressful. Nic provided a specific quote via email that was easy to understand. They were generous with their time. I never felt rushed. EX: They met me at a local supplier and gave great advice when choosing stone and colors. Their attitude and tone did not change after I signed the quote and work got started. In this, I saw contractors that were not just salesmen whose personalities and tone change as soon as you are committed. I have experienced that in the past, and it is a horrible thing to go through.
As a homeowner who has had to research, initiate, and decide on numerous major purchases, I have been turned off and ultimately away in the past when …..
• A contractor talks a mile a minute, like it is a race, and you cannot get a word in edgewise.
• A man is condescending to female clients, like they are obviously smarter than you.
• Someone does not welcome your questions.
None of these things happened with Next Level Custom Brick! They were an absolute breath of fresh air!
Their crew of workers were competent and pleasant to have at my home. They cleaned up their materials and the work site after each day. They were done on time. They did not take short cuts. They did not make excuses.
The power washing that Tom and Nic did at the end was truly impressive and made it exciting!
I think the single aspect I am most grateful for is how Nic & Tom genuinely wanted to do a good job. They were clearly hard workers. They knocked themselves out to make sure I was happy before driving away. I have NEVER had such a positive experience with a contractor, especially one brand new to me.

One of the things that most impressed me, was when the job was complete they took the time to clean the gutters, the grassy area around were the work was completed, swept the cement area and picked up all debris. Next Level Custom Brick did an outstanding job when they replaced the front concrete steps leading to our front door and enhanced the concrete mortar on both brick towers on either side of the steps. The step demo was fast and accurate, all the concrete debris was removed by the team. They cut the new concrete steps to size on site and expertly installed them, enhancing the immediate curb appeal of our home. The team then replaced the old concrete mortar on the two adjoining towers that color matched the original brick face. A great job by a very capable company. We highly recommend them for their concrete expertise.

My wife and I literally saved $16,005 over the first company I was "recommended" to go with by my builder and architect, which is known to be the largest local company and very reputable. I second guessed myself after giving a deposit to this other company because I had not included multiple vendors in the bidding process. Also, there were a few red flags on the initial day of the quote, not the least of which was the sales guy wearing a Rolex. They over-talked how reputable they are and that they are a quality leader not a price leader - which is okay, I am always down to pay well for good work. They next administratively made errors and missed the opportunity on a brick match despite me having confirmed it right away, which blew up my initial timelines. After this, plus my wife's prodding to get a second opinion, I decided to call Next Level. Subsequently, I cancelled the service initially ordered from a competitor and received a partial refund of my deposit, which I deemed "fair enough." Next Level was able to quickly come out and provided me with an honest quote on the first pass, subsequently scheduling us in a timely manner. Robert came out for this proposal and in the hour after inspecting the whole property and consulting with their key staff and owner, next presented me with a very fair offer right off the bat, which included two discounts. They quoted me $8995 which is worlds apart from the $25,000 I had to negotiate a discount to $23,500 from the other brick company. Next Level completed all of this work in two full business days just two weeks after the initial consult, the scope of which included 6 lintels and tuck pointing around the house. I was impressed how hard they worked, how well they cleaned up after themselves, and also with the fit and finish of the completed work. They were able to find a great brick match, which I also appreciate. I would highly recommend Next Level to anyone considering important brick work for a new or old home. Whether your house is entry level or a mansion, they are reputable and capable. They delivered exactly what they promised. My experience here is a perfect example of how routinely people try to f#@& me when they show up to a million dollar home instead of quote a fair price for honest service. I own a large business myself, I take pride delivering good value and honest service in everything we do. It's clear to me that Next Level is really on the highest level of integrity and service with this whole experience. I am not an expert at home things, clearly I'm good at something "at the office," and for all of who us aren't professional tradespeople you just need to proceed with reasonable caution because we are easy to pick out for an experienced sales person to completely oversell. This was a large purchase decision for me in these dollar amounts, it affects my budgets and timelines on other goals I have for my new home. We all work really hard for our money and each of us deserves to be treated fairly so we can support our family in the best possible ways.
